Frank Warmerdam Geo-Geeking

Frank Warmerdam just started his blog on December 5, 2009. I don't think I'm alone when I say "Its about time." and happy to see one of the great gods of Open Source GIS finally blogging.

For those who don't know Frank. Frank is the originator of great Open Source GIS tool kits such as the Proj projection library that PostGIS relies on for geometry transformation support and the OGR/GDAL libraries that are used by countless applications both Open Source and Proprietary to convert between various vector spatial and raster spatial data.

A big WELCOME - Frank.
