Department Of Neighborhood Development (DND) 2011 survey of Boston Private Abandoned Property. The interactive map is an application utilizing OpenLayers for the client interface, MassGIS EEOC departments WMS server for Aerial photography layer, UMN CGI mapserver as a WMS/WFS provider that queries PostGIS database and publishes WMS and WFS layers of abandoned property locations, building foot prints, Boston parcel footprints and street index. Clicking the dots on the map will query the WFS and show corresponding detail for abandoned property in clicked on region. Mousing over an image will show an enlarged version of the image.
